These are the maximum number you can borrow at one time.

These are the maximum number you can borrow at one time.

  • Ordinary loans are 3 week loans with white date labels.
  • Short loans are 7 days with blue date labels.
  • REFERENCE ONLY cannot be borrowed. They have a yellow band on the cover.

Items on loan are renewed automatically.

If another user requests an item, you will receive an email requesting you return it and it will not be renewed. If the item becomes overdue, your Library account will be blocked and you will not be able to borrow further items.

You will be charged a replacement cost of £30 per item for any lost or unreturned items on your Library account.

Students finishing their courses need to clear all outstanding items to access a Goldsmiths Library Alumni account.
