Goldsmiths students to exhibit art work at University Hospital Lewisham.
An art and poetry open evening will be held at University Hospital Lewisham, High Street, Lewisham on Thursday 12 February at 6.30pm in the Education Centre (opposite Ladywell Unit, north side of site).
The event combines an exhibition of work by three Goldsmiths MFA Art Practice students and work by University Hospital Lewisham's artist and poet in residence.
ARTIST AND POET IN RESIDENCE
Celebrating 60 years of the NHS at Lewisham Hospital with artist Joy Gregory and poet Gale Burns. Come and see the work that has been produced and hear poetry readings that have been inspired by the people, staff and patients connected with the Hospital.
GOLDSMITHS ANNUAL EXHIBITION
Goldsmiths MFA postgraduate artists, Joep Overtoom and Sally Spinks have been commissioned to make work to be exhibited the Hospital’s new Riverside Wing for a year. This work will be unveiled at the event. This is the beginning of an annual partnership, where each year new work by graduating students is selected to be displayed at University Hospital Lewisham.
