Anthropology events
We host regular events for the public, our students and staff that push the boundaries of anthropology and centre collaborative practice and radical thinking.
Our events include the Goldsmiths Anthropology Seminar Series and the Annual Gold Lecture in Anthropology, as well as student-led workshops and public forums.
All upcoming events open to the public are listed below. See the archive of our past events.
Goldsmiths Anthropology Seminar Series
Each teaching term we host the Goldsmiths Anthropology Seminar Series, a series of talks and screenings free and open to all.
The Annual Gold Lecture in Anthropology
Every year, we invite a speaker to give our prestigious annual lecture and showcase contemporary anthropological research from around the world. Past speakers include Les Back, Jean Besson, David Graeber, Alpa Shah, and Michael Taussig.
