The 3D Printing Art Practice Area allows students to 3D print in single colour plastics, work with 3D scanning and modelling software.
Training
Termly inductions will be held for using the Ultimaker 3D printers and Artec 3D scanner, in addition to introduction sessions for designing in 3D modelling software ‘zbrushcore’ and ‘fusion360’.
Students are encouraged to develop their 3D modelling skills through online tutorials freely available online.
**Please Note: You will have to take an induction before being able to book time on the 3D printers in wb100.

- 4 x Ultimaker desktop 3D printers
- 1 x Artec Eva Lite 3D scanner
- 3D modelling software inc zbrushcore, fusion360
- Workshop area with basic power tools for assembling artworks/post-processing 3D print
