Capital Normal University
Capital Normal University was founded in 1954 and is located in Beijing, the political and cultural centre of China.
Capital Normal University is well-known for its role in cultural transmission and innovation and offers complete academic disciplines in liberal arts, science, engineering, management, law, education, art, and foreign languages. Beijing International Studies University
Beijing International Studies University was founded in 1964 with just 200 students. Since then it has expanded to more than 10,000 students including over 700 overseas students. BISU has nearly 25 academic departments and research centres.
BISU is a renowned institute of higher education offering subjects and courses in foreign languages, tourism management, liberal arts, management, economics, and law.

Beijing Dance Academy
Beijing Dance Academy (BDA) is a renowned institution of higher education of dance in China. Established in 1954, BDA offers programs at secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels and has a unique system of studies and dance education including majors such as Chinese classical dance, Chinese ethnic and folk dance, ballet, social dance, choreography, dance studies, alongside wide comprehensive courses.
China Academy of Art
The China Academy of Art is the most influential academy of fine arts offering PhD., master’s and bachelor’s degrees in fine arts, design, architecture, multi-media and film.
The Academy was founded by the renowned educator Mr Cai Yuanpei in 1928 promoting fine arts education in the then war-torn China. The Academy is headquartered in the Nanshan campus. The academy has fostered many renowned artists who have become major artistic forces in the country, making it one of the most prestigious art institutions in the country.

Shanghai Theatre Academy
Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) is a comprehensive university of performing arts, with the focus on theatre training and studies and a history of almost 70 years.
STA is one of the best art institutions of higher education in China. After decades of development, STA has grown from a single discipline school into an outstanding comprehensive university of performing arts in China.
The Academy provides undergraduate programs in 37 specialties under three main categories of literature, management and education, covering various fields.
National Institute of Cultural Development
National Institute of Cultural Development (NICD) is a joint academic institution constructed by the team of cultural system reform of the Ministry of Culture and BISU. The mission of NICD is to offer an external platform for national cultural development, an information think-tank of global cultural development, a theoretical research center for international cultural trade, and a training-base for international cultural management.
Actively working on theoretical and practical issues in the course of the national cultural development, NICD has completed about 10 research projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels, and submitted more than 20 proposals. Based on previous accumulation, NICD has established China Institute for Cultural Trade Research, Expert Committee of Cultural Trade of Beijing International Association for Trade in Services, Beijing Collaborative Innovation Center for International Cultural Trade and Cultural Exchange.
