Come and make music in more dimensions in this hands on workshop on the revolutionary Seaboard RISE keyboard instruments.
ROLI, designers of the innovate Seaboard keyboards and the Music Department at Goldsmiths are pleased to announce a new partnership. This launch event will allow students to find out more and to get hands on experience with the Seaboards. Come and try them out!
ROLI have revolutionised the piano keyboard by replacing white and black keys with a continuous, touch-responsive surface that combines the expressive capabilities of many instruments in one interface.
On the soft silicone surface of the Seaboard RISE, you shape sound intuitively through touch. The RISE offers Five Dimensions of Touch - Strike, Press, Glide, Slide, and Lift - that open up an entirely new approach to expressing yourself on a keyboard.
