Event overview
The panel discussion brings together scholars working at the intersection of religion, languages, literacies and identities with children and adolescents from a range of faith communities in the UK and the US. This event will feature brief presentations from each of the panelists about their chapters in the book followed by a broader discussion of some of the issues involved in the study of religion in children and adolescents' lives with reference to their learning, socialization and identities.

After the panel discussion the book launch of “Navigating Languages, Literacies and Identities: Religion in Young Lives” will take place. It will be introduced by Marilyn Martin-Jones, editor of the Routledge Critical Studies in Multilingualism Series.
