Working with young people across the UK, The Children’s Society is a charity with a founding principle of equal access and opportunity for all those growing up in this country. Having worked directly with over 18,000 children in the past year alone : we provide services for such wide-ranging issues as child exploitation, mental health disorders and substance misuse. as well as this, we fight for the right to education and accommodation for undocumented young refugees who so desperately need our support in the current political climate. As a charity, we also engage in government lobbying, equipping the decision makers of this country with the ability to identify the issues where legal, policy and regulatory change is really needed; we work closely with young people to help them present their stories and experiences directly to politicians and policy-makers.
Please visit our website and checkout our action reports if you would like to know more about the different services we run, and their impact: http://www.childrenssociety.org.uk/what-we-do
Your donation helps us continue to work with children to ensure that they are loved, valued and listened to.
