Event overview
MMus Vocal Performance Students Malvina Maysuradze and Maria Ximena Abello will sing arias and songs by Handel, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky and Barber.
Accompanied by Tamriko Sakvarelidze-Black, Malvina will sing:
Mussorgsky - aria from 'Khovanschina '
Barber - Must the winter come so soon from 'Vanessa'
Verdi - aria from 'Un ballo in maschera'
Tchaikovsky - Night, Gypsy song, In this moonlight night
and Maria will perform arias by Handel, also accompanied by Tamriko Sakvarelidze-Black.
Hosted by the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, this series of concerts gives students an
opportunity to perform their work in the grand surroundings of the recently refurbished Council Chamber in Deptford Town Hall. The performance is open to all staff and students at Goldsmiths, as well as members of the public.
Deptford Town Hall is on New Cross Road, (nearly) opposite New Cross Gate train station, London SE14 6AF.
