Event overview
Through a sequence of derisive attitudes and abrasive material relationships, four artists tacitly allude to a cultural system trapped in a cycle of non-stop inertia.
Pressing Inertia is a four artist group exhibition featuring Sam Austen, Sophie Giller, Ludvig Gustafsson and Helsinki based artist collective Sorbus and takes place at EnclaveLab in Deptford over the course of three weeks. Through a sequence of derisive attitudes and abrasive material relationships, by way of sculpture, video and audio, these artists tacitly allude to a cultural system trapped in a cycle of non-stop inertia; one that is revving up but getting nowhere.
An exclusive preview of the new Swedish record PALLE BONDO, launched by the label iDEAL Recordings, will be played on the opening night.
