'Public Feelings, Dissident Acts': Dismantling the Cultures of Sexual Harassment in Universities
The day will introduce the findings of a British Academy funded project on 'Cultures of Consent: Examining the complexity of sexual misconduct and power within Universities,' inviting dialogue on how cultures of sexual violation can exist and circulate through feelings, gestures and atmospheres that are difficult to name and act against.
Throughout the day we will hear from artists and researchers who have been developing innovative methods and counter cultural practices to intervene in these toxic circuits of feeling.
Confirmed speakers: - Travis Alabanza - Dr Sita Balani - Professor Claudia Bernard - Ray Filar - Dr Kaitlynn Mendes - Professor Alison Phipps - Dr Nisha Ramayya - Professor Jessica Ringrose - Dr Linda Stupart - Dr Isabel Waidner - Liv Wynter
