Event overview
Vocalist Dan Turner and Saxophonist Tom Fletcher host this event, with singers, combos and soloists from the department’s growing Jazz community.
As part of the Department of Music's Music Week festival, this evening gig follows on from the rush-hour chamber music concert in Deptford Town Hall.
Supported by a house rhythm section, Dan and Tom will explore some swinging standard repertoire before introducing guests and combos from the department's Jazz ensembles and Performance Modules. The second half of the evening will be an open session for those students who have signed up to perform repertoire of their choice.
Bring refreshments and friends and come to support this evening of student-led Jazz.
