Event overview
Join us for a Q&A with flautist, composer, improviser and educator Rowland Sutherland.
Rowland Sutherland is one of London's most versatile, prolific and cherished musicians – a formidable flautist, composer, improviser and educator, he is impossible to categorise, and has shared the stage with musicians from across the classical, jazz and world music scenes.
Today he'll share some of his musical experiences, ideas, projects, collaborations, challenges, and influences with us in a question and answer session with Pete Furniss. Rowland will also play some examples from his varied repertoire, both performing live and discussing video and audio examples.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the session, and to meet Rowland afterwards.
This session is open to all to attend.

This session may be recorded and filmed as part of a new Meet the Performer podcast series. If you'd like to take part in the recording, filming, or editing of this event, please contact Pete Furniss.
