Amanda Ghost is a London born, singer, songwriter, record maker, music executive and film
and TV producer.
She has won 3 Ivor Novello awards for hits that she wrote for James Blunt (You're Beautiful),
Beyoncé and Shakira (Beautiful Liar), and is a six time Grammy nominee and a Golden Globe
nominee.
Amanda started out as a singer songwriter and became one of the world's most successful
and prolific record producers and song writers.
In 2009 she became president of Sony's Epic records in the US and then went on to become
CEO of her own label, Outsiders - a joint venture between her and the Universal music
group.
The British Academy of Songwriters Composers and Authors is the voice for music writers. They to support and protect the professional interests of songwriters, lyricists and composers
and to celebrate and encourage excellence in British music writing.
BASCA professional members include Sir Paul McCartney, Dizzee Rascal, Michael Nyman, Gary
Barlow, David Arnold, Johnny Marr, Tom Odell, Guy Garvey, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, Kate
Bush, Chris Martin and several others.
