Free summer school for students aged 16 to 18. Explore challenging themes in Contract Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights and EU Law, hone debating skills, and take part in a mock trial
Law at Goldsmiths prepares you for 21st century legal practice. Spend three days learning, crafting, and experiencing what it's like to be a Law student in the modern world.
You will attend lectures and workshops held by experts from Goldsmiths' Department of Law, and examine a wide range of topics, from Contract Law and Criminal Law to Brexit and human rights.
You’ll also spend a day in central London, visiting organisations that will expand and enhance your cultural understanding of Law within our society.
Finally, you will spend a day honing your debating skills in speaking and debating workshops.
At the end of the Law summer school you will take part in a short mock trail.
Attending our free summer school will give you a valuable taste of legal studies, and an insight into life as an undergraduate student. It will offer an inclusive, empowering, and experimental space for you to develop your creativity, confidence, and research skills.
