Event overview
Join us for a showcase of tunes from our jazz performers.
The Creative Jazz Ensemble, directed by Paul Bartholomew, will perform tunes by Duke Ellington, Maria Schneider, Lennie Niehaus, Ellen Rowe and Gerry Mulligan.
The concert will also showcase small groups featuring Jazz students from L1-L3 playing music by Thelonius Monk, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Wheeler, John Coltrane and Shabaka Hutchins. There's solo piano music, quartets, quintets and nonets featuring the saxes with arrangements by Tom Fletcher, George Shrapnell and Paul Bartholomew.
