Julianne Ingles - A Chicago native, Julianne Ingles is a painter, writer, editor and founder of Guts Publishing. Her degrees include an MA in Creative & Life Writing and an MA in Modern Literature, both from Goldsmiths College. Her websites are inglesart.com and gutspublishing.com.
Liam Hogan will be reading from his short story 'Better Babies' (fiction). A London fiction writer and Oxford Physics graduate, his award-winning short story 'Ana' appears in Best of British Science Fiction 2016 (NewCon Press). 'The Dance of a Thousand Cuts' appears in Best of British Fantasy 2018. Liam also hosts Liars' League, a live fiction event running in London, New York, Hong Kong and Leeds where professional actors read short stories. Tobsha Learner will be reading from her short story 'Homage' (nonfiction). Author of historical fiction, thrillers and erotic fiction, her books include the bestsellers Quiver (erotic fiction) Sphinx (as TS Learner) and The Witch of Cologne (historical fiction). Gerry Marsh will be reading from her short story 'He' (fiction). Gerry is a London fiction writer and author of Tales of Urban Encounters (2018), a collection of short stories set in southeast London. Her articles have been published in Therapy Today and The Guardian, and she has just finished writing Flight of the Dodo, a dystopian novel. Stories About Penises, an anthology of short stories and poetry. Julianne Ingles will introduce the project Stories About Penises, while Liam Hogan, Tobsha Learner, and Gerry Marsh will read their short stories.
Stories About Penises is a collection of 21 poems & short stories (fiction and nonfiction) written by a talented group of writers from around the world. Thoughtfully selected work, some are tragic, some full-on, some comic, some bizarre and of course some erotic. The range of takes on the humble penis (which one of the writers said - Julianne, that's an oxymoron!) is staggering. The anthology release date is 28 November 2019.
