Event overview
Two days of participatory events curated by Dr Marcus Leadley exploring the sounds of the Horniman Museum and Gardens and our impact on the environment.
On Saturday, sound walks, field recording and composition workshops will culminate in a collaborative live performance in the Conservatory.
On Sunday, performances and sound works exploring environmental change will be broadcast from the Bandstand via wireless headphones throughout the gardens.
Across the weekend, an interactive sound installation by artist Ambrose Seddon will bring the sounds of the local ecosystem into the Natural History Gallery. Sound installations will also be available throughout the Gardens.
