Event overview
On November 9th, NX Records, our very own record label, celebrates the re-opening of their pop-up record store with a full day of music, art and interaction.
New and used records, including the full NX back catalogue, will be on sale, alongside prints and magazines by students and local artists (South London's print collective will be represented).
Live music will be running from 2pm till 10pm, with recent Sonic Arts graduate Maeve channeling the arctic winds of her field recording excursion to Iceland, while Popular Music student, techno producer and NX Records signee Harry Rodger will drop one of his sought after DJ sets. Once again, NX has teamed up with local label Kit Records, and we'll be treated to sets from subaquatic technician Roméo Poirier (travelling all the way from Brussels!), and psychedelic modular jazz outfit HESITATION. Ultra cool NTS DJ samb_rules will also spin some tracks, and local games company FR&ND will provide an assortment of interactive games, which will transform the space around visitors.
The Kit x NX Records Shop is located at 310 New Cross Rd, and will be open from the 9th-23rd of November. Keep an eye on http://www.nxrecords.com and their various social media channels for more details of in store performances and events.
