Event overview
Two immersive works. Enter a wash of resonance that shifts and builds in Scott Mc Laughlin’s Surfaces of Emergence for 6 electric guitars. You are invited to explore the space, take up different listening positions, and negotiate this indeterminate sounding. Then, take a seat for the world premiere realisation of Amber Priestly’s new video graphic score. In this homage to Christian Marclay’s Graffiti Composition (2002), textures and surfaces, static and dynamic, elicit a sonorous joining of forces from CME’s eclectic ensemble of mixed instruments.
