Event overview
The Asian Music Unit (AsMU) at Goldsmiths is delighted to present a concert by the Thai Music Circle (Postponed)
This concert will showcase Thai classical music performed by the leading ensemble in the UK.
It will feature enchanting compositions performed on all three of the main ensembles used in Thai classical music: the piphat, mahori and khrueang sai. These large ensembles are made up of different combinations of percussion, wind and string instruments and are tuned to a distinctive seven-note scale (equiheptatonic scale).
