Event overview
Curated by Rambisayi Marufu, Emma Tarlo and Farrah Riley Gray.
'Weaving Archives' brings together academic research, artistic and healing mediations.
This exhibition explores the complexities of hair as both a material entangled in systemic, gendered and racialised oppression as well as a site for Black Feminist expressions of radical love, joy, kinship.
People are free to visit it individually if they are in college but the opening event planned for March 17th has been cancelled as a precautionary measure.
A virtual tour of the exhibition will be circulated at a later date
