Event overview
Professor Nivedita Menon (JNU) and Dr Kiran Grewal (Goldsmiths) discuss the possibilities and implications of developing a decolonial feminism
In this seminar veteran Indian feminist scholar, public intellectual and activist Nivedita Menon will discuss what she understands a project of decolonial feminism to involve, why it is important intellectually, politically and ethically and why it might be particularly pressing at the present moment.
She will be in conversation with Dr Kiran Grewal, a Reader in the Department of Sociology at Goldsmiths, convenor of the MA in Human Rights, Culture and Social Justice and co-director of the Unit for Global Justice.
