"Women in Love" - MMus performance student Bonnie Callaghan performs ranging from baroque opera through to the 21st century, with Anthony Ingle (piano)

This programme aims to explore, challenge and deconstruct the various stereotypes, emotions and behaviours of women in love. A thought-provoking programme ranging from baroque opera through to 21st century opera, French, German, Mexican and Spanish song to Musical theatre.

Bonnie Callaghan is a classically trained Soprano, currently studying a Masters Degree in performance at Goldsmiths University of London under the vocal tutelage of Ashley Stafford.
Bonnie made her operatic debut in Florence Opera's May Festival playing Cis in Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring, a role which she reprised for Buxton international festival 2017. Since then she has enjoyed a varied start to her career performing a range of music from Mozart to Rachmaninov to Cole Porter.
Bonnie is a fierce advocate for women’s rights and enjoys exploring operatic and classical works through different lenses.
Goldsmiths will still be complying with Covid safety measure - audience members should wear face coverings (unless exempt) and maintain distancing. Please note there will be no late entry and all tickets to be booked in advance. Performances will also be live-streamed on our YouTube channel.
