Event overview
It’s a tradition at Goldsmiths that all students in the Department begin the academic year with a week of intensive performance based activities - we're so glad to be BACK!
Join us from 4pm in the Great Hall for this one-day festival featuring students on the BMus Music and BMus Popular Music programmes.
This will be a "promenade" style event, with small groups performing short sets which will be repeated to give you a chance to grab a beer from your drinks emporium of choice in-between sets. A schedule will follow soon so you can see your favourites and maintain that all useful distance!
Featuring:
Sets from 1st and 2nd year BMus Popular Music students performing original songs
Goldsmiths Keyboard Collective
Jazz Ensemble
String Ensemble performing Bach's stunning Double Violin Concerto
Small chamber groups
plus 3rd year BMus Popular Music students recording studio projects with NX Records including a live radio show.
We will also live-stream this event on our YouTube channel.
This event is free and open to all - bring your own drinks and snacks and listen to an evening of creative works from the music department and please wear masks if you are able, let's stay safe!
