Event overview
Tonight's performance will use conventional instruments, sound art, performance, electronics and poetry, presenting a wide spectrum of improvisation.
The Horse Improvised Music Club was established in March 2012 by London based improvisers Adam Bohman, Sue Lynch and Hutch Demouilpied. Initially the Club ran a twice monthly series of concerts at The Horse Pub in Waterloo, London and other local venues, relocating and working in partnership with the IKlectik Art Lab in December 2014. It has since become one of London’s leading improvised music series with an international reputation and has programmed over 200 performers both from the UK and abroad.
The Club places a strong emphasis on programming established performers alongside new musicians, embracing a broad range of improvisation, including conventional instruments, sound art, performance, electronics and poetry, all of which are promoted within an evening, presenting a wide spectrum of improvisation.
