Event overview
A research talk with CVA Visiting Fellow, Francisco Mondaca Molina.
This talk on urban palimpsest and decolonial traces will be delivered by Francisco Mondaca Molina, urbanist and CVA Visiting Research Fellow.
Francisco Mondaca Molina is an architect, researcher and urbanist focusing on space and collective memory. "Sand and Water" is a reflection on two ongoing initiatives where he has explored reparative strategies in Egypt and Patagonia. Tracing the remnants and erasures of those physical spaces where human expositions were held in Berlin, Paris and London, this work explores material, visual symbols as potential sites for resignification and addresses the intersections between decolonisation and collective memory.
Please bring your own lunch to this event.
