Event overview
Join us at The Garden Museum for an evening of music and performance in response to the work of pioneering Artist, Gardener, Radical: Frank Walter
Explore the work of one the most significant Caribbean visual artists of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries alongside interactive activities responding to his work devised by academics and artists at Goldsmiths. Student tickets are available for £5.
The exhibition Artist, Gardener, Radical encompasses Walter’s prolific body of work exploring Antiguan plants and landscapes, environmentalism, Caribbean and Black identity, social justice, and the complexity of nature.
Goldsmiths’ academics have created new interactive responses to the exhibition including art, creative writing, and crafting. Plus, an exclusive performance by students from local Deptford partner, IRIE! dance theatre.
