Event overview
Sketches and Spectra: a salon
Peter Sheppard Skærved brings a typically inventive programme to the Goldsmiths, counterpointing works from the age of Louis XIV & Louis XV with some of the hundreds of pieces dedicated to him. Mihailo Trandafilovski finds worlds of expression and colour in the spaces between harmonics and timbres. Paul Pellay continues his poetic series of ‘Consolations’, evoking the subtle beauty of our daily emotions. Both Sadie Harrison and Hafliði Hallgrímsson respond to visual art, from the sketchbooks of this performer and the genius of Paul Klee (himself a violinist).
