Opening reception of new exhibition at the Constance Howard Gallery.
The Goldsmiths Textile Collection and Constance Howard Gallery invites you to the opening reception of SOLO, an exhibition of embroidered portraits of textile workers in South-East London by artist Katie Sheppard.
Original works produced by the sitters will be exhibited alongside each portrait. With each sitter having worked with another one of the subjects, this exhibition aims to demonstrate the interwovenness of these otherwise ‘SOLO’ practitioners, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and brands.
