A series of talks from leaders in their field, who will talk about the impact that AI is having in tech and the workforce.
In the third talk of the series you will hear from Phil Harvey - Applied AI specialist from Microsoft and member of the External Advisory Board for the Department of Computing - who will talk about his career in AI and the essential skills and attributes that distinguish successful graduates in this changing job market.

Bio:
Phil is a big beardy AI geek who loves working with data and solving interesting problems. He is especially interested in soft skills for technical people in data, empathy, ethics and in the impact of data on what people know and how they know it. Starting his career with a BA in AI, he has worked in a wide range of industries from surveying, to architecture, to advertising, to being the CTO and technical founder of a data start-up.
Phil previously worked at Microsoft as Applied AI Architect in the Industrial Metaverse Core group. Phil now works in security architecture - and won’t say more about that.
