Event overview
An evening of cold case investigation.
Across the UK someone is reported missing every 90 seconds. Currently, over 5000 people are missing without a trace, over 1000 bodies remain unidentified, and 1/3 of murder cases are unsolved: All Cold Cases.
In partnership with Locate International, Goldsmiths' award-winning Forensic Psychology Unit (FPU) invites you to an interactive evening of cold case investigation.
Through captivating case studies and hands-on demonstrations, discover diverse methods used to uncover new investigative leads that might just solve a case, including forensic science techniques, psychological information gathering, and some more unconventional methods.
Content warning: Please be aware that this educational event shares case studies that include examples drawn from real cold case investigations, including references to missing persons and murder investigations.
Reserve your place and take on the challenge of solving the unsolvable.
Hard and soft drinks will be available throughout the evening – card payments only.
Free drink for each person on first night (only). A percentage of all ticket sales will go to support the fantastic work of Locate International - a UK Registered Charity dedicated to helping families of unsolved missing person cases find their loved ones.
