A series of talks from leaders in the field, who will talk about the impact of new technologies.
In the fourth talk of the series you will hear from Vinoba Vinayagamoorthy - Senior Technology Strategy Analyst in the Open Innovation team at Samsung and a member of the External Advisory Board for the Department of Computing - who will talk about exciting emerging developments in tech and how students need to position themselves in this changing job market. She will also talk about her own career journey in VR/AR, User Research, Interaction Design and research engineering at the BBC.

Bio:
Vinoba works at Samsung (SRUK) in R&D’s Open Innovation team, as a Senior Technology Strategy Analyst, focusing on the impact of emerging technologies on the mobile sector for Europe. Currently, she is a mentor for Samsung’s ‘Solve for Tomorrow’ programme. She has a background in (social) VR/AR, Connected Living/Home & Devices, Interaction Design and User Research. Previously, she held a position as a research engineer (scientist) in the BBC’s R&D department and was a research fellow at University College London’s Computer Science department. She has a PhD in Computer Science (VR) from UCL and a BEng. in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey.
