The Centre for Urban and Community Research (CUCR) is a well established interdisciplinary research centre within Goldsmiths’ Department of Sociology with a distinguished history of collaboration with local communities and activists. It combines theoretical investigation with critical ‘local’ project implementation from Deptford to Jakarta.
To mark 30 years of CUCR (1994-2024), we are bringing together members and friends of the centre for a day-long event. The day will include panel discussions, a walking workshop and the launch of the CUCR exhibition.
