Goldsmiths Literature Seminar
Associate Director for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Bill Alexander, will speak about Shakespeare, directing, text and performance.
Internationally acclaimed director, Bill Alexander, has staged some of the most important Shakespeare productions of our time, including The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Taming of the Shrew and , most recently, Titus Andronicus and King Lear, staring Corin Redgrave. Having worked at Bristol Old Vic, the Royal Court and the Birmingham Rep, Bill remains associate director at the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has just come back from directing Peter Wheeler's play about Christopher Marlowe, The School of Night, in L.A and is now in rehearsals for The Snowman in the west end.
