This workshop is intended for all who engage with urban landscape as scholars, researchers, architects, planners or as citizens. It approaches the city from the stand-point of scale and imaginary representation, moving from the studio to the street and back again. It raises critical questions about the ‘reality’ of the city and interpretation of space, inviting participants to interact and construct new, imaginary, plastic forms in ‘empty’ spaces.
Santiago Escobar is a Colombian photographer and architect who served as a soldier/photographer for the Columbian army in the Multinational Force and Observers in Sinai and Egypt.
