Event overview
Based on the 'Who am I' curriculum, through archetypes, poetry, Tai Chi, ceremony, video text, this practical workshop will explore the multiple identities we adopt in our lives. the workshop arises out of the GCSE scheme of work called 'Roots/Routes'.
Daniel Schindler is currently Head of Performing and Visual Arts as well as a Senior Teacher at Swanlea School. He has taught for over 20 years in a range of settings in the UK and overseas, including rural, city and international schools.
He regularly shares his practice, leading workshops for a range of organisations including National Drama, London Drama and Goldsmiths, University of London. He is to deliver a workshop in Iceland for the Icelandic Drama association in Reykjavik. Schindler calls his drama curriculum 'Who am I' and its central aim is nurturing the health of the child.
