The MA in Performance Making at Goldsmiths brings together talented emerging and practising artists from a wide range of artistic and geographic backgrounds. This multidisciplinary course is an international laboratory that is designed to bring performers from diverse backgrounds into collaborative study and practice, acknowledging the challenges of creating theatre in a globalised culture. It is a meeting point for artists to collaborate, develop their skills, and to rethink the ways in which live performance is created.
This year’s cohort of 23 dancers, actors, directors and fine artists have been training and researching collaboratively towards hybrid forms of live performance. Over the past year, they have studied with a wide range of international and UK artists, including course convenor Anna Furse, Graeme Miller, Mischa Twitchin, Geraldine Pilgrim, Julia Bardsley, Geetha Sridhar, Nick Parkin, Patricia Bardi, Maja Mitic, and Mojisola Abedayo, and distinguished lecturers from the Goldsmiths Drama department.
Performances take place in and around the Goldsmiths campus.
