Christiane Paul is the Adjunct Curator of New Media Arts at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the director of Intelligent Agent (http://www.intelligentagent.com). Currently she also teaches in the MFA computer arts department at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has lectured internationally on art and technology.
Frieder Nake belongs to the founding fathers of (digital) computer art. He produced his first works in 1963. Frieder Nake is Professor for Compter Graphics and Interactive Systems at the University of Bremen, Germany, and has had a long involvement with digital art. He and fellow pioneers Primarily a mathematician, Nake's colored computer drawings in 1967, for example, explored the visual expression of series of matrix multiplications, imagery that has an undeniable artistic intention. He has contributed to all major exhibitions of computer art, including Cybernetic Serendipity in London (1968), tendencies 4 in Zagreb (1968), and the long lasting Goethe Institute show during the 1970s.
Lanfranco Aceti works as an academic, artist and curator. He is Visiting Professor at Goldsmiths College, department of Art and Computing, London; teaches Contemporary Art and Digital Culture at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Sabanci University, Istanbul; and is Editor in Chief of the Leonardo Electronic Almanac (the MIT Press, Leonardo journal and ISAST). Currently he is the Artistic Director and Conference Chair for ISEA2011 Istanbul.
