Hedva Eltanani: Questioning Performing with Technologies as a New Audience Experience
Hedva Eltanani's presentation introduces her search for a new audience experience that technology may bring into performance. The focus here is on Digital Performances – performances that use digital media as a main role. She suggests a new composition of audience/performance dynamics, which she refer as participants/performance relationships. She will create a discussion that examines the difficulties and the possibilities that digital performance may bring to the participants experience.
Hedva Eltanani graduated MA Advanced Theatre Practice from Central school of Speech and Drama. She researches the various usages of technology within live performances and the way they affect the relationship between the performance and the participants. She recently presented her research at 'JAM 2010 – The Audience Spectacular' at Reading University.
