Event overview
Hosted by the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, this series of concerts gives students an opportunity to perform their work in the grand surroundings of Deptford Town Hall.
As part of the Performance and Critical Listening course, 1st year student groups perform arranged pieces for ensemble.
Giuliani: 'Maestoso' from Serenade (flute and guitar)
Gabriel Fauré: Après une Reve (soprano, guitar, flute and cello)
J.S Bach: Adagio from Sonata in C (flute and guitar)
John Dowland: Weep You no More Sad Fountains (tenor, flute and piano)
Andre Previn: Vocalise (soprano, piano and cello)
Anon (trad. Irish folksong): She moved through the fair (soprano, tenor, flute, piano and cello)
Vaughan Williams: Love Bade me Welcome (tenor, piano, flute and cello)
Bohuslav Martinu: Trio for flute, cello and piano (flute, cello and piano)
Performed by Thomas Sargeaunt (flute); Ruth Pule & Eliot Williams (voices); Nikolai Linnik (guitar); Rosalind Asprey (cello); Sally Kwong & Byong Hwan (pianos)
The performance is open to all staff an students at Goldsmiths, as well as members of the public.
