Hugh Davies, Stockhausen, Gentle Fire and the Electronic Music Studios at Goldsmiths.
Unit for Sound Practice Research and the EMS present James Mooney, from the University of Leeds and Edison Fellow, British Library, who will give a talk entitled: "Hugh Davies, Stockhausen, Gentle Fire and the Electronic Music Studios at Goldsmiths".
He presents his research on Hugh Davies’ recordings - Stockhausen’s assistant in Cologne (1964-66). Hugh Davies was a Goldsmiths alumni and founder of the EMS at Goldsmiths in 1968.
