The Pinter Centre for Performance and Creative Writing is delighted to present this seminar by Dr Yasmin Gunaratnam as part of our Beyond the Linear Narrative project.
In this seminar, Dr Gunaratnam of Goldsmiths Sociology Department, will discuss ideas and themes that have emerged from her work with dying migrants and death workers in London.
She will attempt to show that dislocated dying is very much a phenomena of our time, articulating profound conundrums of belonging that bubble up as eschatological questions that speak to us all: ‘Who am I?’ and ‘How did I get here?'
