Trashing Performance Workshops Application deadline 18 August 2011
Don’t miss this opportunity to take part in two exceptional and intensive workshops led by the internationally renowned artists Oreet Ashery and Vaginal Davis.The workshops are taking place within the context of Trashing Performance, the second themed year of Performance Matters, a three-year creative research project rethinking why performance matters through the matter of performance.
Oreet Ashery's workshop will take place in rural Suffolk and Vaginal Davis' workshop will take place in East London. Both workshops are aimed at artists working with some of the following: performance, image making, gender and body politics, action, sound and music. The capacity for each workshop is limited and participants will be selected by application.
