Goldsmiths Literature Seminar
Katrina Naomi (MPhil/PhD Creative Writing, Goldsmiths)
Katrina Naomi will discuss the work of 4 contemporary poets: Sharon Olds, Pascale Petit, Peter Redgrove and Robin Robertson. She will look at their use of violent subject matter and violent imagery, and consider critics' gendered responses to such poetry. Katrina will also read some of her own work in seeking to answer why poets write about violence.
