Handel's Messiah is probably his best-known work, and maybe even the most loved piece of classical music in the UK. We introduce a very special performance, featuring 95 students from schools in South London in our Messiah: Oratorio in Education project. After the great success of Dido & Aeneas: Opera in Education in October 2011, The Amadè Players are pleased to be working with the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, University of London and The Foundling Museum to present a unique concert on Thursday 22nd March 2012. We are collaborating with students aged 9 and 10 from Kender Primary School, New Cross and aged 11 to 17 from The John Roan School in Greenwich. We are very excited about this collaboration, and hope you will be able to join us for this very special performance.
