Event overview
BSA postgraduate conference on tactics of engagement
Engaging Tactics is a two-day BSA Postgraduate Conference with site-specific paper sessions, talk-walks, workshops, public lectures and round table discussions on the ‘tactics’ by which social sciences construct and hold up meaningful and confiding relationships with both research participants and ‘emerging publics’. It is held in collaboration with Goldsmiths’ Methods Lab.
The event builds on previous New-Scholar Symposia staged by the department with (Re)Creating: Methodologies, Concepts, Practices in 2005, Exploding Methods in 2007 and Exploding Objects in 2009.
