Anna Furse talks about her current projects and research
Professor Anna Furse (Head of Theatre and Performance and Convenor of MA in Performance Making, co-director of The Centre of the Body at Goldsmiths) will talk about some of the ways she got to where she is currently in her research and show a clip from some key projects including her current one OUR INFORMED HEARTS in which recall - stimulated amongst other things by music - is explored in collaboration with artists and a Cambridge Professor of neuroscience Nicola Clayton.
Professor Furse is Head of Theatre and Performance and Convenor of MA in Performance Making, and co-director of The Centre of the Body at Goldsmiths. She has been making theatre professionally since 1981 when she launched the first feminist experimental group in the UK. Directing projects that have been produced and toured internationally, she has also worked extensively with commissioned composers, including a recurring collaboration with Graeme Miller.
This free event is open to all, not just graduates!
