Students on the Advanced Classical Music course perform a double-bill rush-hour recital of works for solo piano and songs.
Eliot will be performing
Revenge Timotheus Cries by Handel (from Alexander's Feast)
The Salley Gardens and The Ash Grove by Britten
Ye Twice Ten Hundred Deities by Purcell (from The Indian Queen)
Come away, come away, death and Fear no more the heat o' the sun by Finzi (from his set of songs 'Let us Garlands Bring'), accompanied by Richard Black (piano)
DJ will be performing Prelude, Menuet & Clare de lune, from Claude Debussy's 'Suite Bergamasque' and all three movements of Maurice Ravel's 'Sonatine' (Modere, Mouvement de menuet & Anime)
Hosted by the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, this series of concerts gives students an opportunity to perform their work in the grand surroundings of Deptford Town Hall. The performance is open to all staff and students at Goldsmiths, as well as members of the public.
