Event overview
New Cross's finest return to London's Southbank Centre for the launch of the annual PureGold festival. Featuring music spanning genres from baroque, opera and contemporary premieres, to singer-songwriters, electronica and installation. In a packed showcase, artists will be performing throughout the evening across three stages, culminating in DJ sets.
Including the official launch of NX Records - a new, independent label based in New Cross, London. It is an exciting and engaging coming together between Matthew Herbert's Accidental Records, Goldsmiths, University of London and students from its popular music course showcasing the best sounds from SE14’s creative community.

PureGold is a celebration of the music created and performed at Goldsmiths, University of London. Running for six weeks in May and June, the annual music festival gives the stage to Music and Popular Music students and postgraduate composers and performers, displaying the wealth of talent at Goldsmiths.
